Instructions for using Bluecut
Get the app.
Bluecut is in beta. Choose your phone and follow the instructions on the next page.
Sign in.
Tap Outside US at the bottom of the login screen. Enter the email you were provided. Use the code you were provided. Allow camera and microphone access.
Open a script.
Tap Choose Mode at the top → Teleprompter. Pick a script. You’ll see one line at a time.
Start recording.
Say the line. If you don’t like it, pause and say it again. Try it a different way. Don’t stop the recording.
Tap Next. Keep recording.
Once you like a line, tap Next at the top. Get set and say the next line. Repeat until you’ve done the whole script.
Stop and send.
Got a good version of each line? Press Stop.
Recommended: choose automatic sending, it’s the easiest way. Bluecut sends each recording without you having to do anything extra.
If you choose manual sending, tap Send after each recording.
Watch your finished video.
When the edit comes back, open Ready to watch and save it.

When should I stop?
When you have a version of every line you’d be happy to use. The full recording can sound messy. You don’t need a perfect run from start to finish.
How long should I record?
A 1–2-minute recording might become a 30-second video. That’s an example, not a rule. Take the time you need.
Can I try a line a few ways?
Yes. Say it slowly. Say it with more energy. Pause between tries. Keep all of those tries in the same recording.
What if the script list is empty?
Close and reopen Choose Mode to load the list again. If it is still empty, use Get Help in the app.
What about Two Characters?
Start with Teleprompter for this first test. Two Characters and Two Characters V2 are separate recording modes; the steps above are for Teleprompter.
Which login code should I use?
For a tester account, use the code in your message. You don’t need to open that account’s inbox. If you’re using your own approved email, tap Email me a code and check your inbox or spam. Normal emailed codes last 10 minutes.
Android install
Your Play Store Google account must be on the tester list. Open your invite link while signed into that same Google account. Join the test, then install Bluecut.
Sending and getting it back
Wait for the upload to finish before leaving the app. If it fails, keep the recording and use Get Help. Editing takes time. Ready may show a captioned version and one without captions. The Description tab, when shown, has text you can copy.
